The September 30 Movement was considered an attempt by an Indonesian Communist Party to replace the Indonesian Nation's Ideology, namely Pancasila, but that effort experienced a failure that was why October 1 was celebrated as the Pancasila Day of Wisdom. The PKI was deemed to have carried out a coup movement to take over the reins of power in this country, which at that time political power was controlled by three major powers namely Nationalist, Religion and Communism. A very noisy condition coupled with a rampant level of state inflation worsens the situation.
What until now has not been completed in the G30S / PKI incident in 1965 when a number of middle and high ranking officers were kidnapped in a rebellion that intended to take power. They were buried in the crocodile hole which was always visited on the commemoration of the Pancasila Day of Power. Although it was still controversial regarding the PKI rebellion in 1965, the Pancasila by Soeharto's New Order was considered powerful. Apart from the controversy that exists Pancasila has been present and cemented this nation from time to time.
In the principle of the Almighty God the spirit of piety is contained in the Almighty God. This country was founded on the basis of faith and trust in God. Even so, the Fair and Civilized Humanity precepts make human values the main civilization. This nation upholds the values of life on the basis of humanity. The principle of Indonesian Unity has meaning without the unity of all struggles will be in vain. Consultation Led by Wisdom Wisdom / Representation means deliberation and consensus to be a very vital value in every decision making. The choice to become a democracy is to prioritize people's sovereignty. While social justice for all the people of Indonesia has the meaning that in every act of children the nation prioritizes social justice.
The G30 S / PKI event in 1965 was a national tragedy. On that day the Pancasila State Foundation will be replaced by communism by the PKI. Thanks to the help of Almighty God and upholding the values of Pancasila, the Armed Forces and the people under the leadership of Major General Soeharto could thwart PKI's efforts. Pancasila remains strong as the foundation of the Republic of Indonesia.
Therefore, on October 1 we commemorate it as the Pancasila Day of Wisdom (Hari Kesaktian Pancasila).
The powerful Pancasila is Pancasila whose values are still deepened and lived by all the children of the nation. Commemorating the day of the power of Pancasila, it must certainly restore the original nature of Pancasila which is capable of being the protector of all the children of the nation in various differences. Pancasila must be an inspiration in democratizing and carrying out humanitarian works in the midst of modernization of civilization. Cultivating Pancasila should be a grounded appreciation.
